About us

A contemporary fitting house in the heart of Dublin, built on traditional cutting and finishing skills.

Nora Keane

Decades of experience, a walk-in welcome.

Liberty Walk-In Fit was founded to give Dublin a place where everyday alterations and serious bespoke work sit under one roof. Nora Keane leads the cutting room with a calm eye for balance and proportion — equally at home pinning a walk-in hem or guiding a first bespoke commission.

Our showroom on Dawson Street is deliberately unhurried: fitting rooms, cloth samples, and a team trained to explain options without jargon. Ladies and gentlemen are equally welcome, whether the need is a zip today or a wedding suit over several months.

Our philosophy

Clothes worth keeping.

We believe fit is the difference between something you own and something you wear with ease. Whether we alter a favourite coat or cut a suit from scratch, the standard is the same: honest advice, careful work, and a finish you can feel in the hand.

FAQ

Common questions

  • Do I need an appointment?

Not for standard alterations — walk in during opening hours. Bespoke and complex restyles are by consultation.

  • How long do alterations take?

Many minor jobs are ready within a few days; express options may be available. We confirm timelines when we pin.

  • How long is a bespoke suit?

Allow several weeks to a few months depending on fittings and cloth. We set a schedule at consultation.

  • Do you work on ladies’ and men’s garments?

Yes. Our cutters and finishers work across both, from casual pieces to formal and bridal-adjacent occasion wear.
